Small round knitted coin purse with a steel snap lid. A fleur de lis pattern is impressed into the metal top. Beaded star at bottom. Also known as a Tam O Shanter after the Scottish hat. These were fashionable around the turn of the 20th century. They were small and easy to carry in a ladie's dress pocket or bag.
