French sculptor Claude-Léon Mascaux received a bronze medal at the 1924 Paris Olympic Games for his Seven Sport Medals in the sculpture category. This replica, believed to date back to the 1930s, features a nude female figure in motion, either leaping or running. The dancer is widely believed to represent Isadora Duncan, the celebrated American dancer and choreographer.
